I thought that Michael Coren having a show on Sun TV would be a no brainer. He is currently on CTS where his audience is much more limited. I contacted him regarding this and just received an answer...

I was offered a show but have chosen to stay at CTS, where I am producer as well as host. I have agreed to appear at least 3 times a week on Sun tv as a commentator and write two columns a week. Best of all worlds really.

Too bad. But at least he will be making appearances.

Michael is a no BS guy but I think as a commentator 3 time a week is a good idea.

Yep. No spin zone Canada. I'm guessing he will jump on board after Sun TV proves itself. Probably doesn't want to give up a steady gig with CTS for an unproven channel.

Don't blame him, but at least he'll be there.

I'm happy he'll stick with CTS. Having him in as many places as possible is a great thing. He basically controls his own show at CTS. He'll still write for the Sun, and now he'll appear on STV News as a commentator. We're 3/3 with Coren! :)

Yeah - I just wonder what kind of ratings he gets with CTS. It is like preaching to the converted there. People who watch CTS are already largely conservative and how many people have CTS in their "favorites" channel listing. It seems a bit wasteful to have him "hiding out" there.

Fair enough. Could CTS not sell it to other networks? Maybe SUN TV could buy broadcast rights to the show?

I'd like to see him on Sun News as well. I think he will end up there eventually. I suspect he said no because he's under contract with CTS and feels obligated to honour it. If thats the case, I respect that.
"God, infinitely perfect and blessed in himself, in a plan of sheer goodness freely created man to make him share in his own blessed life. For this reason, at every time and in every place, God draws close to man. He calls man to seek him, to know him, to love him with all his strength. He calls together all men, scattered and divided by sin, into the unity of his family, the Church. To accomplish this, when the fullness of time had come, God sent his Son as Redeemer and Saviour. In his Son and through him, he invites men to become, in the Holy Spirit, his adopted children and thus heirs of his blessed life."
